What a beautiful trip to the Cotswolds. The people I have met and the places I’ve seen along with the animals I’ve been able to pet, will never be forgotten.

I’m finding it particularly hard to leave this little slice of Heaven and the home that gave me a hug every morning. It truly did. I’d wake up in the morning and I felt the hug. I’d come back from a long day sightseeing and again, it gave me a hug….something I truly needed and I didn’t know it.

It has been a beautiful time reflecting on loss but more importantly on what I have been blessed with in my life. I’ve meant many wonderful people from all over the Cotswold area. Some I believe are lifelong friendships.

I hope everyone can see this magical place and perhaps stay in the little farm guesthouse. Maybe you’ll experience the hugs it gave me.

The last night…gotta have a fire.

I came across this picture in the hallway that I had not seen before. I see it as Christ caring for His sheep. This is a perfect ending for my stay here in the Cotswolds. He watched over me and guided me. He protected me. Perhaps He led me here to be in the land of sheep to draw near to Him? To remind us what He does for us and how He died for us? I sure love His messages and the way He delivers them.

“The Lord is my Shephard. I shall not want.” Psalm 23

“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” Mathew 10:16

So long sweetheart…
