Snowshill Manor…eccentric to say the least

Snowshill Manor is the home of collector Charles Wade. He did not live in the home but his massive collections of objects did. I could fill an entire website with pictures of each room but instead, you must see it for yourself. Many during his time, were intrigued by him and came to visit. Notably, Queen Mary as well as Virginia Wolf and Graham Greene…all who found Mr. Wade and his objects quite “eccentric.” There are several clocks in each room, all set to a different time to confuse the guests and encourage them to stay longer and delight in his art.
